Getting your credit report directly from Choice Point IS NOT FREE. They require you to give them a credit card and they enroll you in their BS “credit monitoring” program and if you don’t cancel it after a certain amount of time, they will bill your credit card.

Use the Federal Trade Commission’s website to get your free credit report from each of the 3 credit reporting agencies: https://www.annualcreditreport.com

I’m still totally amazed at people who answer this question incorrectly. Is it just ignorance? Or spam?

FreeCreditReport does NOT give out free reports. I never even heard of that other company…just another of the scam sites trying to cheat people.

Please go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com as this is the ONLY TRUE government mandated site where you can get your report.
