I was just wondering how do credit scores work in association with credit cards and about how long would it take for a person to reach a good credit score rate ?

There’s a credit score commercial and they said that bad credit scores keeps you from getting a job. What in the world? That’s like discrimination of some sort. How do you improve your credit score if you don’t have the mean to improve your credit score?

I have my 3 scores ranging from 680-703.

I am applying for a credit card and am wondering if those scores are good enough to obtain one.

I have student loans, one credit card with 3/4 of the credit line used, a charge card with half of the credit line used, and another charge card without any charges or a balance.

I’m just worried that since my credit card is near its max that I won’t get approved for another card I’m applying for.

Im trying to plan for a mortgage. If we had about 50k saved up and we wanted a 300k mortgage what credit scores would we need to get approved.
Lets say these are the circumstances:
husband has had a steady job for 2 yrs
Wife has been consistently working but not at the same company
income range is 70-80k a year
